Glass fusing is an advanced process where layers or fragments of glass are bonded together in a kiln. As the glass reaches high temperatures it softens and merges into one continuous body — a single, durable surface in which colour, form and decorative elements are permanently embedded.

In recent years fusing has become one of the leading techniques in artistic and architectural glass, because it allows broad creative freedom alongside precise control over the final look of the material.
At Ran Green's studio the technique is applied to panels, lighting, wall surfaces and figurative artworks — with organic textures, embedded metal, hand-drawn motifs sealed under glass and three-dimensional slumping.
