About the ArtistRan Green
Israeli multidisciplinary artist, curator, and creative entrepreneur.

Artist, curator, entrepreneur.
Ran Green is an Israeli multidisciplinary artist, international artist, art curator, and creative entrepreneur who combines the worlds of art and entrepreneurship at a high professional level.
He masters a wide range of glass techniques used in Israel and internationally — including stained glass, leaded glass, glass engraving, painting on glass, and additional glass art techniques. His works decorate public buildings, institutions, and private homes across Israel.
Leaving a mark on the world
Some art is made to fill a wall.
Some art is made to leave a mark.
Ran Green is an artist, entrepreneur and multidisciplinary maker working in Israel and internationally, with nearly five decades of creating, searching, evolving and an unbroken love of art.
For Ran, art was never one field, one material or one style. It is a language — a way to tell a story, carry an emotion, turn an idea into matter, and leave something behind.
Over the years he has built a wide body of work that crosses the borders between disciplines: original paintings and fine-art prints, stained glass, fusing and glass works, ceramic printing, and pieces that combine techniques, materials and visual worlds.
But the work does not stop at material. Ran is also a writer and composer, an author and a poet — and the connection between word, sound, colour, light and matter is inseparable from his artistic world.
Art made not only to be seen — but to be felt
Behind every piece there is a thought. Sometimes a story. Sometimes a memory. Sometimes a feeling that is hard to put into words. That is why every work takes on a character of its own.
Whether it is an original painting for a home or an office, a glass work that changes the light in a room, a bespoke piece born from one person's or one family's story, or a large work meant to become part of a place's identity — the aim stays the same: to make something you cannot walk past indifferently.
Something that stops the eye. Touches the heart. Starts a conversation. And stays.
Almost 50 years of making — and every work is still a new beginning
The experience gathered over the years lets Ran move freely between materials, styles and techniques — yet it is curiosity that keeps driving the work.
Not to repeat what has already been done. Not to create merely to decorate. But to search, each time anew, for the precise connection between the person, the place and the work.
Because real art is not only something we buy. It is something we choose to live with.

Across many categories, styles, and collections.
As a painter, Ran Green moves freely between styles: abstract art, realism, figures, symbolic works, and expressive visual compositions. Each artwork carries a personal voice and a strong visual presence.
His ability to move between techniques, mediums, and artistic languages — from glass to canvas — makes him one of the most versatile and prolific artists active in Israel today.
Ran Green represents the modern artist: creator, dreamer, curator, and entrepreneur. His art speaks in a universal visual language and leaves a mark in every space it touches.
Three decades between glass and canvas
Ran Green has spent close to three decades working with light as a raw material. He came to glass through craft — cutting, leading, firing — and to painting through an appetite for colour that the discipline of glass could not contain. The two practices have run side by side ever since, each feeding the other.
In glass he works across the full technical range: classical stained glass and leaded panels, kiln-formed fusing, mosaic, sandblasted relief, ceramic and UV printing, and smart-glass installations that change with the room. Commissions include synagogues, public buildings, institutions and private homes in Israel and abroad — works designed to be read differently at every hour of the day as the light moves across them.
On canvas his language is looser: abstract fields, figurative studies, symbolic compositions and expressive colour work. An archive of roughly five thousand original pieces has grown out of that daily practice, and it remains the source for the prints, editions and applied objects offered in this gallery.
Alongside his own studio work, Ran Green curates and represents other artists, treating curation as an extension of making — building rooms, sequences and collections rather than single objects.
The through-line is simple: art that is precise in execution, generous in colour, and made for the person who will live with it.
Why I create
There are moments when I stop, look at what I have made — and simply feel.
I feel that there is something here beyond work. It is not only glass and lead, not only a meeting of colour and straight lines. It is someone's dream, a quiet corner of a home, a memory absorbed into matter.
I do what I do because it is my pulse. Every piece is my way of speaking, of feeling, of touching people without words.
I build for someone who dreamed, who imagined, who saw something in their mind — and needs someone to turn it into reality.
I am here to leave a mark. Not only on material — on hearts. If something I made caused a person to pause for a moment, to smile, to feel at home, then I left a mark. And for me, that is worth everything.

When we decided to commission stained glass for the synagogue we examined many specialists. Choosing Ran Green proved right in every respect: service, listening, and above all a quality of light and colour that gives the sanctuary its character.
